Sacred Space

Baenasida a vegum irskra Jesuita.  

At any time of the day or night we can call on Jesus.
He is always waiting, listening for our call.
What a wonderful blessing.
No phone needed, no e-mails, just a whisper.

Many countries are at this moment suffering the agonies of war.
I bow my head in thanksgiving for my freedom.
I pray for all prisoners and captives.

At this moment Lord I turn my thoughts to You. I will leave aside my chores and preoccupations.
I will take rest and refreshment in your presence Lord.

Alltaf er það jafn flott ad sja hvaða ahrif bænin hefur a folk her a spitalanum. Vanalega þegar maður hefur beðið med folki og opnar svo augun þa litur folk svo miklu betur ut, hefur breyttan litarhatt og meira lif i augunum. Eg verð alltaf jafn hissa einhvernveginn. Eins færist kyrrð yfir folk, það er kannski eitt i okunnu landi og er hrætt a leið i adgerð, og "bara" það ad biðja med þvi breytir ollu og folk oðlast frið og er tilbuið ad taka þvi sem verður.   Er alveg storkostlegt að sja.
